Successful commissioning of the first commercial online molten salt heating module together with HERLOGAS S.A. for the largest CSP project in the world

Resistencias Tope S.A. has successfully commissioned  together with HERLOGAS S.A. the first commercial molten salt heating module for a  solar thermal power (CSP) project in Dubai that is known to be the largest CSP project in the world.

 

The 3MW heating module (or skid) to heat molten salts of Resistencias Tope S.A., is made up of several in-line circulation heaters in serial connection and their corresponding control panels for optimal temperature regulation in the different process scenarios.

 

This 3MW skid allows heating up the temperature of the molten salts stored in the tanks and it could be also used in thermal batteries (Power to Heat).

 

With this project, Resistencias Tope S.A. heating solutions demonstrate, once more, the quality and confidence that they offer in very diverse sectors. Actually, the sector of renewable energies is a sector in which Resistencias Tope has a lot of experience due to the always successful participation in more than thirty similar projects.
